[Version 3.0] Guide to Setup Leave Approval in System Setting & Employee Details (Leave Policy)
1. Additional Notes for HR/Admin
In version 3 of the website, HR/Admin has the option to set leave approval either through System Setting > Leave or through Employment (Employee Details).
If leave approval is for all staff, HR/Admin can set it up in System Setting > Leave.

If leave approval is only for specific staff members, HR/Admin can set it up through Employment (Employee Details).

All user roles, except Employee*, can be set as Leave Approver. If the Leave Approver role is Employee, HR/Admin must first change this role to another role.
2. Steps to Set Up Leave Approval
a) Through System Setting
To set up leave approval through System Setting, HR/Admin can follow these steps:
Step 1. Click System Setting.
Step 2. Click Leave.
Step 3. Enter the desired staff name in the First Level Approval field.
Step 4. If necessary, enter the staff name in the Second Level Approval field.
Step 5. Click Save.

b) Through Employment (Employee Details)
To set up leave approval through Employment (Employee Details)*, HR/Admin can follow these steps:
Step 1. Click Employee.
Step 2. Click the View icon next to the desired staff name in the Action column.

Step 3. Click on Employment.

Step 4. Click the Edit icon.
Step 5. Select the staff name in the First Approval field under Leave Supervisor.
Step 6. If necessary, enter the staff name in the Second Approval field in the same section.
Step 7. Click Save.

Step 2. Click the View icon next to the desired staff name in the Action column.

Step 3. Click on Employment.

Step 4. Click the Edit icon.
Step 5. Select the staff name in the First Approval field under Leave Supervisor.
Step 6. If necessary, enter the staff name in the Second Approval field in the same section.
Step 7. Click Save.
