[Version 3.0] How to Set/Update "Radius Location" in the "Attendance Location" Section (Update Attendance Location)
Introducing the New Feature: Geofencing
The Geofencing feature in the MySyarikat system allows staff to clock in & clock out within a specified location radius set by HR/Admin.
Additional Notes for HR/Admin
The Geofencing setting feature is only available in version 3 of the MySyarikat website.
All staff must update the MySyarikat app to the latest version, which is 2.2.0 or above.
Staff must ensure they clock in & clock out within the location radius set by HR/Admin.
If staff clock in or clock out outside the specified location radius, the following screen will appear in the MySyarikat app:
Before setting up the Geofencing feature, HR/Admin must enable location services in the browser being used. Please refer to the following tutorial link:

1. How to Set the Radius Location in the Attendance Location Section on the MySyarikat Website
To set the Radius Location in the Attendance Location section, HR/Admin can refer to the following steps:
Step 1: Click System Setting.
Step 2: Click Attendance.
Step 3: In the Attendance Location section, click + Location.
Step 4: Enter the desired Name of the location.
Step 5: Enter the desired Location Address.
Note: In the Location Address field, HR/Admin must enter a location that is registered and available in Google.
Step 6: Determine the Radius (Meters) for the geofence.
The minimum location radius that can be set is 50 meters from the specified area, and the maximum location radius that can be set is 500 meters. Please refer to the images below:
Step 7: Click Save after completion.
Note: The set Radius Location will be displayed on the Default Shift and each shift set in the Attendance Location section.
2. How to Update the Radius Location in the Attendance Location Section on the MySyarikat Website
To update the Radius Location in the Attendance Location section, HR/Admin can refer to the following steps:
Step 1: Click System Setting.
Step 2: Click Attendance.
Step 3: In the Attendance Location section, select the location to be updated, for example, Location 1, and click on Details.
Step 4: Click on Update.
Step 4: Enter the desired Name of the location.
Step 5: Enter the desired Location Address.
Note: In the Location Address field, HR/Admin must enter a location that is registered and available in Google.
Step 6: Determine the Radius (Meters) for the geofence.
The minimum location radius that can be set is 50 meters from the specified area, and the maximum location radius that can be set is 500 meters. Please refer to the images below:
Step 7: Click Save after completion.
